A take on the Worker’s or Chore jacket our Rauceby is made from pristine linen from the great Troficolor Mill in Portugal. The fabric is garment dyed to create a softness of colour and vintage aesthetic with perfectly tonal stitch threads. The relatively light weight makes it an ideal overshirt or outer layer for the summer. We’ve included an upper and two lower patch pockets, a lined yolk, unstructured collar and two button, adjustable cuffs, with five matching horn buttons on the front. The French placket includes a subtle embroidered logo at the base.

As usual a good fit for me. Sweeny always seems to get the sizing right. Only 3 stars because the lower pockets I thought were full of loose cotton but in fact excess material turned over inside the pocket. If you are not bothered about the pockets then it’s a very good shirt. (Photo attached)

A lovely purchase, arrived promptly & well packaged. The jacket / over shirt was exactly as described , beautiful heavy linen mix, & the fit was just as hoped for in an XL. Very pleased. I will keep my eye on this brand & its website as I may well find another perfect garment.
