Our new long wing Derby brogue is classic solid country brogue, Goodyear welted to a sturdy leather sole with a rubber top-piece on the forepart and heel for practicality. The long wing brogue (as distinct from the wing-tip) is characterised by wings that extend the full length of the shoe, meeting at a centre seam at the heel. The Derby pattern is cut from antique finished, smooth Adigo calf leather in tan and has a neatly piped topline with traditional brogue punch detail and toe medallion. The Goodyear welt is in a natural tan with neutral stitching.

Fantastic quality

Great shoe, proper size 11 with wide fitting, built to last , may take a little while to break in.

Poor quality control

Upon initial inspection out of the box, these shoes appear acceptable. However, closer examination reveals several flaws: poor stitching, improperly attached heels, and uneven dyeing of the wood. The quality simply doesn't justify the price, which might explain their frequent sales. There’s also a small cutout which has an orange background and not consistent with the colour of the shoe?? Shoes being bought as present, a present alright..
Unfortunately, based on this experience, I can't recommend them.

Squeaky

Comfortable but rubber sole very squeaky on floorboards. I have a pair of similar OS Coleraine suede shoes that dont make the same sound.

Great Shoes

Never disappointed with OS shoes.

as usual top quality and a beautiful shoe

OS shoes are always on the slightly roomier side I find so I tend to go a half size down and get the perfect fit - the quality is never in doubt

Too squeaky on floors!

They look super but the rubber clad soles squeak very loudly on floorboards.
