Our family run, artisan factory in Le Marche excels in tradition. Skilful hand finishing and time honoured shoe making techniques have been passed from generation to generation.
The factory specialises in high specification formal footwear, with Blake-stitched and Bologna constructions, but they are also masters of clean cut casuals with hand antiqued finishes. The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail make Italy an ideal choice for new concepts and ranges, including our Sweeney Vintage collection and retro hiking boots.

With a long standing tradition in casual footwear, our factory in Portugal produces many of our favourite Iconic styles and is a master of casual boots and trainers. The family run business has a fresh approach to design; highly skilled traditional craftsmanship is supplemented with innovation and a desire to explore new processes. This, in turn, has granted us the opportunity to create unique products and finishes, such as our dip-dyed boots and trainers.

Elche is a region in southern Spain renowned as a hub of shoemaking. The region has a plethora of small specialist factories with unique skills passed from generation to generation. We have hand picked our artisan factories for their individual specialist constructions; espadrilles, moccasins, boat shoes and slippers, using local natural materials and highly skilled craftsman with time honoured techniques and traditions.

Goodyear Welted Construction
Chennai, Southern India
Based in Chennai in Southern India, our family run factory group is accredited for its exacting, high ecological and ethical standards. With over 50 years of experience in traditional shoe making, the factories are masters at Blake Stitched, Norwegian welted and are considered to be among the best in the world for the Goodyear welted construction.
The major difference is that the highly skilled craftsmen have also mastered the Italian art of Tamponato and hand finishing, producing high quality footwear with a hand built depth of colour and unique antiqued patina.

Handcrafted Belts
Bergamo, Italy
At 15 years old, Marco Parisi started working in artisanal belt factories learning from mentors to create a truly a unique product, each different from another. Today, where the majority of production is standardised and machine-made, every belt leaving Marco's factory are crafted and finished by hand. Crafted from the finest calf leather, suede and nubuck, each belt is hand-polished and hand-stitched.
