Description

Our serviceable work boot is designed for the rugged outdoors. The waxed Tailgate leather undergoes a unique tanning process and is treated with natural waxes and oils to improve the water resistance. We’ve also included a waterproof membrane bag inside the boot with a bellows tongue, to keep the water firmly out. The leather has a characterful, matt, tumbled texture with a smooth waxy feel. The character will continue to develop over the years and the waxes in the leather can be replenished from time to time with a balsam. Trimmed with antiqued brass eyelets and ski hooks and a contrast lace, we’ve also included a padded collar and tongue to keep it comfortable. The Vibram cleated rubber sole is equally sturdy and practical, lifted with a contrasting light stitch to complement the upper.

Superbly made boots, but a bit tight across the widest part of my foot. I tend to go for a wide fit whenever I can, but this was not an option. I'm wearing them around the house to stretch them in, but haven't worn them outside yet. I personally would have liked a looped tag on the back to help pull them on, but that's a personal thing, and in no way detracts from the quality of the boot.

Laxfield Boot

Really pleased with these boots, I've struggled to find a good fitting boot in this style and OS have nailed it. The fit is excellent, durable, hard wearing, waterproof boot.

Quite heavy but they feel really secure with lots of padding. Great in the wet.
