Adige Khaki
£359
A new take on a traditional 1930’s style walking shoe. Our Norwegian welted hiker showcases premium fine oiled calf nubuck with the Sweeney vintage treatment – the shoes are washed to create an antiqued ‘worn in’ feel. The upper has and a series of antiqued brass D-rings to keep a good flexible fit, with a padded collar and a back pull tab. The supple bellows tongue is a traditional feature to prevent gaps in the upper. A Norwegian welt is a favoured construction for hikers, as it provides extra stability and protection, with the leather welt covering the join between the upper and the sole; we've opted for the St Moritz rubber outsole, which has a practical cleated tread with a cleated rubber top-piece on a leather stacked heel. As you'd expect we've included a full, calf leather lining and padded insock.
