Description

Our ‘elite’ Spanish espadrilles are in a league of their own. Hand stitched in Spain with supremely soft fine napped neutral khaki suede, Bulnes is a classic boat shoe design with a full leather lining and cushioned leather insock.

Aside from the elegant appearance the construction creates concealed practicality. The sole is formed from rubber wrapped in jute and secured with a side stitch with a textured rubber outsole. We’ve selected a premium rich brown natural woven jute, darker than standard, to create an altogether elevated look.

I purchased when first came out as looked lovely. I kept them in the box until this week when arrived to wear at wedding in Italy - one of laces snapped as I touched them - weird. I have been a customer of Oliver Sweeney for 30 years and new had this experience! I cannot see any replacements being available.

I brought the Bulnes shoes in khaki for my husbands birthday, lovely shoes well made, unfortunately the laces snapped as he was trying them on for the first time!.
Oliver Sweeney posted another set & received them the very next day.
He has now worn them & he loves them.

Shoe laces a disaster!

The shoes look good , as they should at this price !
However, the very first time I tried them on , BOTH laces broke , which is ridiculous . Having phoned up to complain, I have been sent 2 more pairs of laces , so I will see how these perform.
