Our new whole cut formal from our artisan factory in Le Marche Italy is made from pristine fine calf leather. A whole-cut is often considered the king of shoes using one large piece of leather from the prime cut of the hide, with only one seam at the heel. In addition to producing a beautifully clean, smooth aesthetic, the upper quickly and comfortably moulds to your foot, uninhibited by seams. We’ve added interest to the upper in the form of our signature toe Medallion and subtle longwing brogue stitch detail. Layer upon layer or dye is applied by hand to build up a depth of colour before meticulous polishing and antique finishing, again by hand. The uppers are Blake stitched to a leather sole with a concealed channel to cover and protect the stitch.
