Our Chaves boot has been a favourite for a number of years now. The dark brown version is made from dip dyed calf leather – the boots are made up in a natural leather and dipped into a vat of dye to create a casual texture and a subtle non-uniformity of colour with burnishing at the toe and heel. This gives the boots an instant ‘old favourites’ appeal. The Derby style has a twin stitch row demarking a toe cap and twin stitch rows around the seams with a herringbone fabric back pull tab. Inside there is full calf leather lining and full leather insock. The Blake stitched leather sole includes a leather welt over the join to the upper and an inlaid rubber cleated tread for additional practicality.

Very nice boots, I would totally recommend them
Ultra aesthetically pleasing boot, I was seeking a boot in this particular colour for a very long time.
Unfortunately the pair I have do have imperfections. The toecap had minor scuffs and scratches when they arrived and the inside heel on the right boot curves inwards on the stitching line which makes them ever so slightly uncomfortable.
I have attempted to upload photos to no avail.

I have a large collection of shoes/boots and these were exactly what I was looking for smart but rugged looking
Excellent boots, fine quality and great looking.
As with all Oliver Sweeney I've bought these fit and feel comfortable first time of wearing. I'm sure they will become my favourite footwear and look even better with wear, Polish and time...
