Description

Our super chunky cleated Derby shoe is deceptively light with the Finproject Extralight sole – a super lightweight, but durable compound, with a deep profile. The bold Derby upper is made from dark brown Matteo milled calf leather – a tumbled, grainy texture with a soft, supple feel - and is fully leather lined with a cushioned leather insock. We’ve included antiqued brass eyelets and bold twin stitch detail around the back counter and along the facings. The last is a relatively wide fit allowing for a thicker sock or a simply a wider foot.

The right shoe is great. However, on the left shoe, the join and stitch/leather is raised at the top back of the shoe, causing it to rub and cut into my ankle. I bought this and another pair in the sale. The other pair is fine. I'm going to keep both pairs, and hope that on the one pair, the left shoe, that it'll wear in, and be less of a problem.

Really like the chunky and distinctive sole design, good deep brown colour which should be very useful with current seasonal palettes. Surprisingly lightweight for a shoe that looks like it should or could be quite heavy.
Only problem now might be dodging low doorframes!
