Our premium Bologna semi brogue Chelsea boot is made in our artisan factory in Italy. Layer upon layer of colour is applied by hand to the pristine calf leather, building a real depth of colour, before meticulous polishing. The big difference is the Bologna construction. The upper is sewn to a leather base forming a ‘sock’. This dispenses with the traditional insole board, creating a comfortable flexibility, which requires very little ‘wearing in’. The upper is produced on an elegant, slightly square toed last, which is Blake stitched to the St Moritz outsole – a practical cleated rubber sole with a slim profile.
